When you visit Mountainview Medical Imaging you can expect to receive a single bill for the services rendered, unlike other facilities that send separate bills for the study and the radiologist's interpretation.

 

Mountainview Medical Imaging is a provider for Medicare, Medicaid and for most insurance plans. As a courtesy, we file both primary and secondary insurances for our patients. Our friendly and helpful staff can assist you if you have any questions regarding payment options. We accept cash, check or credit cards for services rendered. Financing is available for those who qualify.

Do you file my insurance?

If you present your insurance cards for our review and our records during the registration process, we will be happy to file your insurance. However, it is your responsibility to follow up with your insurance if additional information is needed.

 

Do I have a co-payment?

Most insurance plans will have a co-pay requirement. However, you should check with your employer or your insurance representative to verify the correct amount.

 

Will you file secondary insurance?

As a courtesy to our patients, we will gladly file your secondary insurance after we have heard from your primary insurance, provided you have given us the proper information during the registration process (including a copy of your insurance card).

 

How much will I owe?

Most plans cover 80% of the contracted amount. However every insurance plan is unique and there is no way that we can be aware of every plan. We recommend that you contact your representative or review your policy to determine the accurate percentage of payment.

 

Do you participate with my insurance plan?

We participate with most insurance plans in this area. However we strongly recommend that you check your insurance provider list. This is a booklet that should be provided to you from your employer or your insurance representative. If you have any questions please call our office.

 

I was injured at work and my exam will be covered under Worker's Compensation Plan. Is there anything special that I need to do?

There is a process that should be complete before you come to Mountainview Medical Imaging for your procedure. Your employer or representative should have provided us with authorization to perform tests, but please note that we will need your employer's name, address to mail the claim, date of injury, type of injury, and authorization or reference number.

 

I have no medical insurance to cover these charges; do you offer a payment option?

We have financing available or we offer a discounted rate if you pay in full at the time of your services. A personalized payment plan can be arranged and implemented at time of service.

 

Will you send me a bill at my home address?

You will receive a bill at your home once we have heard from your primary insurance. We will file the secondary insurance and you will receive monthly statements at that time. Please review your statements regarding the status of your outstanding balance.
